Custom Forging Services

In business since 1969, Bourdon Forge Company utilizes state-of-the-art technology to manufacture high quality forgings for use in severe conditions and critical situations. Manufactured to withstand tremendous loads and stresses, our forgings exhibit significantly greater strength than parts fabricated by any other metalworking process.

We use specialized CAD/CAM and CADIF (Computer Aided Design for Impact Forging) systems to engineer and manufacture parts with maximum strength to meet the most stringent customer specifications. Our in-depth knowledge of metal composition and performance characteristics allows us to work with diverse range materials including carbon, alloy, and stainless steels, aluminum, copper base alloys, titanium, as well as specialized high and low temperature alloys. Use of precision calibrated test equipment and both destructive and non-destructive test methodologies ensures that our forgings perform with total reliability in safety critical applications.

Our custom metal forgings can be found in the form of D-rings, hooks, buckles, latches, and carabineers in fall arrest, personal rescue, and auto racing restraint systems. We are a leading manufacturer of parachute and cargo hardware for military applications, and our products are 100% American made and Berry Amendment compliant. When human safety is critical, we will innovate a custom forged part that exceeds your expectations. Contact us today to discuss your application.
